About
Built by operators who’ve done this before — in a different ERP, in a different vertical.
The thesis
Yardi Voyager is the most-installed real estate ERP in North America. It has approximately 10,000–12,000 Voyager customers globally, roughly 12M+ residential units, and a sprawling commercial, affordable, and senior-living footprint. It is also, in the words of every finance team we’ve talked to, “fine but not exactly a finance tool.”
The BI-consulting layer around Yardi is well-served: BC Solutions, 33Floors, REdirect, RentViewer, and a dozen others ship great Power BI dashboards. What nobody ships is a productized AI-narrative service that writes finance-grade variance commentary, quarterly investor letters, and AR anomaly alerts over the operator’s GL. Yardi Virtuoso is headed toward that space, but its focus is operations — leasing chatbots, invoice approval, document abstraction. The finance-narrative layer is a 12–24 month window, and it’s the one we’re built for.
The pattern
Memowright is the second vertical deployment of a pattern we shipped first in collision repair: take a sprawling operational ERP (CCC ONE, Yardi Voyager), pipe it into a warehouse, ship finance-grade dashboards, and then — this is the hard part — turn a language model loose on the narrative layer. The language model doesn’t reconcile your books. It drafts the paragraph your asset manager was going to write anyway, grounded in the numbers, with the drivers called out by property and GL.
That pattern is the actual moat. Competitors can and will ship dashboards. The retrieval-grounded, auditable, finance-tone narrative layer is expensive to get right, takes a long time to tune, and is exactly the piece our clients forwarded to ownership without edits.
The founder
Memowright is a service from Alexander Data Solutions, founded by Alex Gerald. Prior to Memowright, Alex built the CCC Intelligence Platform, a productized ERP-to-narrative service for collision repair MSOs deploying the same Snowflake / BigQuery + Power BI + Claude stack we’re bringing to Yardi. Earlier roles sat in the data-engineering seat at Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) and a series of mid-market real-estate and data-analytics teams.
The independence posture
Memowright is an independent consultancy. We are a member of the Yardi Independent Consulting Network (ICN), which means we work inside clients’ own licensed Yardi instances rather than reselling Yardi software. We are not affiliated with Yardi Systems, Inc. — “Yardi” and “Voyager” are their trademarks, used here descriptively to indicate the platform we serve.
Where we are
Oklahoma City, primarily remote for clients. On-site available for kickoffs and quarterly business reviews. We expect to be at YASC and the NMHC OpTech and a couple of Bisnow regional events over the next year.
